A perfect fit for able-bodied and special needs kids who like horses and want to  volunteer. Groomers need to be a minimum of ten years old. Children as young as  six to nine may participate if a parent is providing on site supervision.

The Groomer Gang grooms the horses from head to toe. In addition to brushing, groomers
pick hooves, and prep the manes and tails. Groomers also help complete desensitization activities with the horses. This activity involves helping the horses become familiar with items the special needs riders will use with the horses in class.

This is an excellent volunteer group. They provide tremendous value by keeping our horses groomed and better prepared for class. Many members in the Groomer Gang progress to other duties around the farm, including Horse Walkers when they are old enough.
